The Dermapen 4™ glides over the skin creating millions of fine, vertical fractional channels up to 104% faster than other microneedling pens. The device creates up to 1,920 micro-channels a second. These micro-tears to the skin promotes natural collagen reproduction, promoting optimised cell function. Due to the minimal epidermal damage caused, this also makes it is one of the least painful micro-needling devices that can be used on the skin, with extremely minimal downtime.
Most patients typically need 6-8 sessions depending on the patient’s skin individual skin concern. Our CULTSKIN® Skin Specialists will advise the patient on how many sessions are recommended within their treatment plan.

Advanced MicroNeedling with Dermapen 4™ is relatively pain free and feels like a light, vibrating sensation on the skin with very light pressure applied. Deeper penetration can seem uncomfortable for some, however, the section of the treatment that includes the penetration of needles from the device, is very, very quick! And with only 1 or 2 passes required per area, depending on what is being treated and the results agreed on achieving, you’ll be outstanded at how quickly it goes, before the area is cooled down with a healing, moisturising mask.
Skin reactions depend on the individual, however skin will appear pink/red for around 24 hours. Other reactions after the treatment may include tightness and slight flaking. Skin will be back to normal within 7 days.
Generally none, but some patients may experience localised erythema (flush or redness) which may last up to 12-48 hours post treatment. Mineral based make-up may be used after 24 hours and most can return to their daily activities immediately after the treatment.
